This month, we feature Dustin & Derrick, who started Verve Wine & Provisions in 2016. Simply put, these guys love to drink great wine while sharing in the discovery of it all. Virtual Tasting with Anthony Giglio
The price includes access to a virtual tasting with Anthony Giglio, a wine expert who uses storytelling to motivate us to trust our tastes and relax the rules. He’s witty, unpretentious, and tops the bill at numerous events, festivals, and auctions, including the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, and the Pebble Beach Food & Wine, to name a couple. He is also the Wine Director for The American Express Centurion Global Lounge Network, longtime Contributing Wine Editor at Food & Wine Magazine, plus an all-around solid guy with tons of credits in more books than we can read in a month.
February - The King of Spain and the World's Next Great White
It's an honor to showcase this handful of gems from the regions. Two bottles capture the potential of the grape Verdejo, which is the primary varietal in Rueda. A tasting would not be complete without two wines from Ribera del Duero, where Tempranillo is king. The winemakers in this collection farmed the grapes with sustainable practices, which are common to these regions. A must-do tasting for the price, you won't want to miss it.
